Julie Kennedy has been serving as Bethel 's Preschool Director since June of 2002. Born and raised in Washington state, Julie began her early childhood ministry there in 1991. Julie has a background of teaching and administration and holds a two year internship in Children's Ministry. Julie holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, a Site Supervisor Permit, and is currently completing her Master's Degree at St. Mary's College in Early Childhood Education. Julie's primary responsibility is for Bethel's nursery, preschool, and kindergarten and includes the management of the school and its 17 staff members. |

Jenny hee sook Lee (her name, hee sook, means "sunshine" and "pure water") has been with Bethel Preschool School since 1995. She grew up in South Korea and moved to California at the age of 16. Her educational background is in Christian Counseling and Early Childhood Education. She has been recognized for 24 years of teaching the Korean language and has received International Awards and attention. She has taught Sunday School for 15 years and has been a minister at the San Jose Korean Baptist Church for 10 years. |

Teresa Buelow's was born in Madeira Island, Portugal, and came to the United States at age 16. She graduated from Santa Clara High School, was a home Mom for about 17 yrs, and homeschooled her kids for 7 yrs. She now has two amazing young adults, Dexter (a Respiratory Therapist in Sarasota, Florida) and Telara (college student, tennis player, and wants to be a physical therapist.)
Teresa has been serving Bethel in Celebrate America, Christmas Spectacular, and Kitchen Assistant with events and looks forward to being part of the Bethel Preschool staff.

La Vernne Kooi and her husband Gerrit have been attending Bethel Church for approximately eleven years. La Vernne's loves people and loves teaching children about Jesus' love. La Vernne's experience and training includes: Greeting children and their families at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford Information Desk, teaching Sunday School and Missionettes, greeter/registrar for VBS, and assisting at Bethel's Club Kangaroo. |
