Miracles - Do You Need One?
Do you need a miracle?
Are you struggling financially? Is your health what it used to be? Have your relationships become difficult to manage? Whatever situation you find yourself in, no matter how discouraged you have become, there is hope. The good news is this: God is committed to taking care of your needs - physically, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. No matter what circumstance you find yourself in, God is ready and willing to meet your need.
On Sunday mornings (for the whole month of January) Pastor Allen is speaking about miracles, praying for miracles, and then celebrating the miracles that take place. Listen... Let's see what miracles unfold.

Home Alone
All of us know what it's like to be alone and this time of year seems to intensify the feeling. A Gallup poll said that 4 out of 10 Americans admit to frequent feelings of intense loneliness. But loneliness is not limited to individuals, it can happen to anyone even while in the midst of a crowd. Listen as Pastor Allen talks about Mary and Joseph's loneliness and the steps we can take to handle loneliness in our lives.

The Power of I Promise
Some of the most powerful words that anyone can speak in the English language are the words "I Promise". They are encouraging, strengthening and assuring words with a lot of power. Promises are made almost every day. Some of them are kept, some of them are not. These words strengthen relationships or break them apart. Listen as Pastor Allen talks about two promises that God made to each of us in the Christmas story.

Godly Garb

It is incredible how many churches spend time arguing over what people should wear on Sunday mornings. Churches have split over the subject.  People have felt excluded over the topic. What we wear to worship is not nearly as important as what we are wearing Monday through Friday. An alarmingly high percentage of people, who name themselves as “Christians”, go to work, school and activities – spiritually naked. They are routinely uncovered and unprotected for the events of their day.

The only “constant” in our lives is the fact that unpredictable events will occur. So how do we prepare ourselves for events that are not expected?

During this series, “Godly Garb”, we will explore the practical applications and use of the armor that God has prepared for us. God’s armor fits us perfectly and will help us deal with the unexpected challenges of our days.

Throughout the New Testament these words appear –
“One Another”.
Surrounding these words are some of the most profound and difficult commands in Christianity.

These words, in fact, set Christianity apart from all other world religion.  Words that define the level of our obedience.  Words that become the acid test if you are a religious person or if you are a person walking in the example which Christ set for us.

The words “One Another” attack the idea of isolation.  These two words, once again, remind us that we are not in this alone.  We are involved – in a family, army, and the Church of Jesus Christ.  “One Another” reminds us that our peripheral vision must be 20/20.  “One Another” is not about "you" it is about "us".  “One Another” - two words that challenge many of our mindsets and habit patterns.  “One Another “ - two words that denote partnership and dependency. (Six part series)

Yes \ No
Of all the words we use, two of them have more impact on our lives than almost all others words combined.  These two words not only impact our lives, they impact the lives of those around us.  They, in fact, define our lives.  These words have incredible power when you speak them.  These two words – how they are used and when they are spoken define who you are, what you do, where you spend your money, the success of your relationships, and ultimately where you will spend eternity.  What are the two words?  “Yes” and “No”.

We have all heard it said that prayer is communication with God. That we can, in fact, talk to God as we would one of our friends. Communication by its very definition is dynamic and demands two way interaction. Is my conversation with God indeed communication – or is it more of a one sided lecture?
God wants to talk to you. In fact, God is an interactive God who is always speaking. God spoke to Adam, to Moses, to Noah, to Samuel, to Jesus, to Paul. You can not read the Bible without understanding that God is verbal. The real question is not if God speaks – the real question is can you hear His voice? In this Sunday morning series we will explore how to hear God's voice and by doing so improve our prayers until they become communication with God.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17
